    on one seat clamp

hi guys! after alot of searching I found the right frame! 456 steel by on one.
    http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/FROO456/on-one-456-frame

I'm looking to by a seat clamp, they say only 29.8 mm seat clamp will suit it.

I've seen lots of 30.0 COOL seat clamps, and its a very small size difference..
    here's one of them:

does someone runs a 30.0 QR on an one one frame and can verify it will work??

    Thanks, Dor

0.2mm is enough that you may have to over tighten the clamp to keep the post from slipping. Some clamps may even close completely before to post is tight.

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common

Don't use a 30.0 Salsa. I tried that on my 456 and had nothing but trouble.
You can get woodman deathgrips in 29.8

    I'm using a non-qr version.

I use a Hope 30mm clamp with no problems. You can always add a soda can shim if it's too loose.

Note: This is about the only situation on a bike that you can get away with using a part that's the wrong size. For anything else I'd say you should only use the right size.

I'd avoid the on one qr, at least until they do something about the brass bushing. It works slick at first, but disintegrated after a couple of months. After that, I bought a cheap Woodman bolt up from Jenson and have had zero issues.
