    No more banshee love?

A few years back, any frame recommendation thread included a banshee! Usually the rune... but these days I'm not seeing the name that often.

Are they just sliding under the radar lately? I think Im going to get a spitfire.

    Did something happen?

There was a 29er legend shown on vital the other day. I still ride my rune and she still treats me well!

Spitfire would be awesome for my weekday rides but I need something beefy for the weekends!

Still have me some Banshee loving, just right now enjoying my new rigid Unit, but I'm guessing after a few months, after I reset the skills, core and general overall body strength via rigid, I'll be back enjoying one of them

They are still going strong best I can tell, but they've never sold a high volume of bikes. Doubt that will change any time soon, which is ok with me as long as they stay around for the long haul.

The Prime was cutting-edge when it came out in 2012 - 2013 and got a lot of press because of that. It is still unique with everything it offers, but there are slacker, longer travel 29ers out there now, some even with adjustable geo. And mountain bikes are going carbon. Big travel, Carbon, and mega-slack is more exciting to write about.

Plenty of love here though! I hope they stay with their core values, and make changes only if it really makes a better riding bike, and doesn't hurt durability or bang-for-the-buck.
