need a quick decision Jamis vs Weyless

Now i know that Weyless isnt a big or very reliable brand from what i've heard....

however i am faced with a decision between Weyless SP 2004 frame and a Jamis Dakar Pro frame

From what i have found out, is that both weight about the same (somewhere between 6 and 7lbs)

Jamis frame comes witha fox float r shock
Weyless has a progressive 5th element shock

Im interested in a light set up with decent travel on the back end

    All opinions welcome!!!!!

    Jamis

If for no other reason than the fact that I believe the Fox shock will be more reliable than the 5th E.

Definitely a second on the Jamis. I bought a weyless xp frame a couple of years ago and it was also spec'd with the fifth element. The frame was good, but I had nothing but problems out of the 5th air. The jamis frame will be good to you, and the shock is much more reliable. Also, since progressive isn't producing mtb. shocks anymore, you would have a time getting service or a replacement. I thought the weyless frame was sold as a frame only for 299, but I might be mistaken.
