Not to rekindle a spark, my son is 5'5" & DJ's a 18" Asta & a 15 year old that is shorter than my 18 year old son did some awsome AM on it also. Our bike does have a shorter 70mm stem also.

Actually the Asta was to be a XC weapon but the kids dad pulled the plug, then it was going to be built for the Cougar Mountain 4X & DH till they turned it into a high buck national that we were qualified for. Also had a wedding the same day, so that ended that. So untill next year it is a going to riden hard just like the 6+ inch travel bikes & upgraded for 4X/DS & minor DH use. Hopefully next year will go smoother than this years bomb. It is going to spend 2 dayz at Downieville in 2 week, my son is going to be riding Asta instead of his 5in Norco.

Is this a good time to mention that I'm your long lost son, and you must therefore shower me with mountain bikes as gifts to curtail your severe guilt?

I have nothing on Will in the skinnyness department. He looks like he weighs about 50 pounds. I'm not that tall either.... only about 5'11".

Are you a bunch shorter than that? 5' 11" is about average, though I think I'm gonna end up a bunch taller. My dad's 6' 4" and my mom's 5' 9".
