New question here. Help me recommend 27.5 MTB Full suspension for under 3k

    1) Your budget. How much do you have to spend on the bicycle.
    >>>under $3000

    2) What bikes, if any, are you already considering?
    >>>Bike: 27.5 MTB

3)What type of riding do you intend to do?
    >>>Trails near me (San Jose, CA)

    4) Do you have a preference over a hardtail or full suspension?
    >>>Full suspension

    5)Age, weight and height.
    >>>Age: 30, Height 5'5", Weight 135 (looking for small frame size)

    6) What sources will you consider buying from?
    >>>New bike from online or local.

    7) Do you want people to offer you alternative suggestions to issues such as budget, bikes already considered, and sources?
    >>>Yes, I'm considering Diamondback Release 1 (on sale at REI) and Release 3. Jeffsy 27 (all version) and Spectral AL 6.0 are sold out for small size.

I don't have any bike right now. This will be my first one in 10 years. I have been researching online for a week, and I'm not sure what would be a good choice for me. I started my budget at $1000 hardtail and decided recently that I might as well get full suspension. That way I don't need a big upgrade near future. If you guys have good suggestions, let me know. Thanks!

Is a full suspension needed for the trails you ride? I was going to get a full suspension bike but then upgraded to a hard tail because it was a better fit for the riding I do.

Performance bike has a 20% sale going right now and 3k is healthy budget for a FS, you'll have a lot of options. Might want to do a lot of test rides before you buy.

Yes, I'm sure I want full suspension.

    Updates:
Jeffsy won't have any stock until next year. Spectral AL 6.0 will have stock in December however I just learned about the chainstay crack issues. So, I won't be considering Spectral anymore.

Have a look at the Marin Hawk Hill and B-17 (if you are considering +).
