    Haibike dropper too long

I'm trying to install a longer dropper post on my haibike nduro.

It doesn't go down far enough in the seat post tube because of 3 dimples near the bottom of the seat tube, which prevent it from sliding down to the end

Wondering what they are the for and if i can file them down, which will give me another inch of room.

Can you describe the dimples (pimples?)? How are they arranged in the seat tube? Do they appear to be intentionally created, or left over drips/sprue/flash/slag...?

If your post is internally routed, will the cable and mechanism at bottom of the end of the post allow the post to be inserted further?

    Pics would be good.

They are 120 degrees apart and seem put there intentionally.

OK. Is there anything on the outside of the seat tube where the pimples are? How far down in the seat tube are they? How big are they, diameter and height? If there's nothing outside the seat tube where they are, I'm just guessing they serve as a stop for seat post insertion. I do not know why they'd do that, other than perhaps to prevent inserting an internally routed dropper too far. Can you contact the manufacturer and ask them?
