    Giant Talon Frame Spec

The difference between the Talon 1,2,and 3.
Is it the class of components that makes the difference or is there also a difference in the frames of Talon 1,2, and 3?
Please forgive my ignorance its not clear (to me) on the Giant web site.
Living in the Philippines, its difficult to get reliable info from the LBS.

Forgive my ignorance, has no one an idea about the Talon frame is it the same identical frame for the Talon 1,2, and 3. Or just the components that make the difference?

The frames are all the same except the color on that bike.

Thanks noapathy, that was my guess. All i have to do now is decide to buy what I can afford now and slowly upgrade the components or save for the higher spec.

I am not a competitive rider, just want a good bike with reasonable parts to last. I intend to use it for bikepacking and here in the Ph a mountain bike is better than a touring bike. Outside of the big cities the roads are poor and more than that I enjoy off road anyway. Thoughts any one?

Yes, the frames are the same, just different component spec. Get the highest level one you can afford, less need or desire to upgrade after the purchase.

If the frame spec changes between models, the manufacturer will certainly tout it, and it will at the least be noted in the specifications.
    Do the math.
