    FSR XC good for downhill?

I'm confused....I'm looking for a bike that'll handle dodgey down hill tracks in the welsh forests but that I can also use to go on long rides down fire tracks etc. Despite reading all the adverts I'm not clear on what to get....

I'm favouring specialized and the enduros (for the downhill) and the fsrxc (for the longer rides) Will enduro do both? Help would be appreciated....any other options would be appreicated too.

The Enduro would be best for DH.
The FSRxc would be best for longer rides.
AND the Stumpjumper FSR would be the choice for DH and longer rides XC.
    Great all-around bike.

I agree. as long as the down hills you are refuring to are not ski lift downhill runs the fsr xc should be ok but the best pick for what you describe would be the Stumpjumper.

    You won't be disappointed!

I just got a SJ FSR a few weeks ago and totally love it.
Smooths out the gnarly stuff, climbs great and rides comfortably.
Sorry I didn't get one sooner.

After you get it be sure to post some pictures of the bike and your favorite trail.

Is the Versus Blitz like a snow cone and does Dairy Queen sell it?

Isn't Downieville where the asylum for the criminally insane is located?
