Dented frame, is it now unsafe?

Just dented my top tube on my Kona Coiler, is this now weakened and unsafe to ride? I ride freeride and gentle downhill.

    Thanks

I'd have said no even if that tube was round. Being it's square and where the dent is I'd say you'll be perfectly fine.

If you had dented the downtube in the same spot I'd be worried.

    I'd ride that, no problem.

Thanks, that's what I'm thinking, but worried it might fold on a landing!

    Thanks again

All of my husband's frames are dented. He's broken 4 bikes and one of those 3 times. He's never broken a bike where it was dented. So you're OK.

Miatagal, I just noticed your user name. You've heard of Monster Miata's I suppose?

I want one, but I'm too poor!

Keep an eye on it of course, but it should be fine.
Make sure there are no other cracks or dents on the frame.

The Coiler frame can take a lot more than that tiny dent

Thanks everyone, I've just removed it from eBay where I had put it due to thinking it was scrap.

At least if it breaks and breaks me, I mend free on the health service!
