New question here. cannondale super v 500 (1998)

    hi
i have a cannondale super v500 (1998) i was thinking of replacing the fork (fatty P bone m)
with a fox fork or other similar brand. I was told that it's not an option that with cannondale i can only use thier fork that fatty or a lefty/

    is this true?

No, it's not true. You can get reducer headsets. I know Cane Creek makes a reducer headset.

I have a '95 Cannondale F700 that had a headshock and I replaced it with a Rock Shox by using the headset reducer mentioned above, there are other brands available as well, just check with your LBS.

Go for the cane creek reducer as mentioned, just make sure you get the right reducer as only one fits correctly. I've been running a 140mm RS revelation and its been a nice ride. I thought it would be too much up front but I've liked it so far.
