To Buy or Not to Buy

I'm being offered a "BRAND NEW" 2009 Giant Anthem Advance X2 Carbon for 2k with all XTR components (2009 also)... Not very familiar with Carbon bikes other than their weight and performance advantages. I'm also aware of how fragile they can be if improperly taken care of..
Is there a problem with a Carbon bike from 2009?

    ANY INPUT IS GREATLY APPRECIATED...

There's no problem with 2009 carbon bike. I'm still punishing my 2007 Mojo carbon it's still as awesome as the first ride I was on it. So if the bike fit you go for it. Be careful that's one fast bike

For that price I would jump on it
in a second. Great bike and a great
deal. Also carbon isn't a problem.

My Thanks go out to mimi1885 and John Kuhl...Thanks for the needed push... I made the purchase today... Feels like a found a diamond in the rough...Never really got used to my 29er full suspension .. most rides in Miami are technical so 26in make more sense for me... I do see a 29er hardtail in the future though...Thanks Again
