    300 for a ladies bike?

    Hi,
I've set aside 300 for an XC bike for her indoors, she's new to it so I cant justify spending any more for now, however I bought my Cannondale F300 10 years ago & the frame still survives even though I've upgraded nearly everything else since.
Does anyone still make frames of a similar quality and if so who and could I get one with my small budget?
A few stipulations:- ladies frame ( god know's why but who understands 'em anyway? ), It has to fit a small person cos she's only 5'nowt, something I can mod if she gets into it.

    Please help, cheers in advance.
