A def pass at that price. Maybe $500...maybe. Depends on what type of riding you intend on doing, but a modern 29er or 27.5+ bike would make a lot more sense. For $1800 you could get a decent brand new 27.5+ HT.
    What, me worry?

Never have I see anyone post and ad like that with a asking price and a bottom dollar price. Strange.

I'd pass. You could potentially find a slightly newer Yeti model for the price he posted. If your budget is $1800-2500, you could definitely find something better!

That asking price is a joke. Personally, I wouldn't look at any bike that was pre Boost and didn't run a 1x drivetrain. That would be the bare minimum requirement.

I agree, maybe $500. Has mechanical disc brakes too. Not sure I'd pay five for it. You can get a lot of bike for 2500 nowadays.

Hard pass. I could deal with the old tech Geometry. But mechanical brakes an old suspension you may have trouble finding parts for and no dropper? The $2-3000 dollar bike is filled with options. If you can do your own wrenching you can get a pretty middle of the line/ top-ish end direct to consumer bike.

    Add another vote to pass.

If you're willing to buy used at $1,800 to $2,500, then buy consumer direct and get a brand new FS bike with better components and newer standards for the same price.

    Whyte, YT, Canyon, etc, etc...
