    Will these work together?

I want to upgrade from a quill to threadless. I was wondering if these will work together...

    Looking on Jenson right now.

    Dimension Quill Stem Adaptor ST307E00
    1"Threaded To 1 1/8"Threadless

    Easton EA50 Stem
    110mm, +/- 6 Deg, 25.4 Clamp ST295A05

Also, if there are any other converts who've used this, how'd you like it? Was there any issues with using an adapter?

    Thanks for the help,
    Dave

maybe i need to clarify my question...

I noticed their are different clamp sizes for stems. I was wondering if those are for the bar or attaching to the threadless.

Will the size I'm looking at be the correct fit for the adapter? Are they all the same and it's the clamp for the handlebar that's different? (I need help)

Would go to LBS, but there is only one in my town and I don't like how they take advantage of that monopoly.

You just want to change stems? What the Dimension adapter does is replace your quill stem with a post. Then you can use whichever threadless stem you want.

In the example given, the EA50 stem will work with the adapter just fine. The clamp sizes for stems refer to the handlebar diameter.

Why do you want to do this? Just curious...

Thanks for the response, that's just what I wanted to know.

Main reason is I want to keep my old rigid mike, but have variety in options of stems and handlebars.

Also, in the quill system I have right now there is some rust at the top where the bolt is so it's time for a change before things get too bad.
