    Underseat tool kit install???

Ok I just got a slightly used rock hopper. It came with underseat tool kit but it was not on the bike at purchase. I am pretty mechanically inclined but for the life of me can not figure out how this thing attaches. It seems to be way too loose. Do you have to match tool kits to different seats? Are they specific? Thanks.

PS: It's a Jandd xlab bag

Under seat bags usually attach with three velcro straps. Two loop over the seat rails and one around the seat post.

It looks like this one. It doesn't have a velcro attachment system. It is a clip.

Nice of the seller not to include the seat bracket to go with the bag.

Does this look like the piece you need?

Probably easiest to buy a new bag. I have heard of problems with some plastic clips breaking on the trails.

You don't need a bracket. It loops through the seat rails and fastens underneath.
