    Trek Mountain Track 220 suspension

    Hello,

Can front suspension be added to a Trek Mountain Track 220 (24" wheels). I kno wthey make aftermarket suspension for 26", but do they make them for 24".

    Thanks

    Yeah but....

who'd want to put a heavy arsed fork like that DJ on a kids MTB? Plus you're looking at a new hub at least set up for 20mm thru axel. Most of the big companies don't make a suspension fork for a 24" wheeled bike unfortunately. There are some to be had out there, but most are made for the OEM market rather than aftermarket. The current crop ot Trek 220's come with Suntour forks. Your best bet would be to try them. Or perhaps even contact your Trek dealer and see what they can come up with. I believe RST has supplied suspension forks for 24" bikes in the past (and probably currently as well). Not long travel, usually 50 to 60mm, and not top end components for certain. But they do work.
