    Tightening Spokes

I did a search, but couldn't find a thread on tightening spokes. I know that there are wrenches for this job, but not sure if I can check the tightness w/o buying a tension gauge or any other related tools.

Could someone post a procedure to help out a newbie?

If you just tighten the spokes it may make the wheel out of true. The best way is to use a truing wheel and slowly tighten the spokes but still keep the wheel straight.

That's what I figured. I was pretty sure you wouldn't just indiscriminately tighten them.
