So its finally time to upgrade. Bike Search

After five years I'm finally retiring my current bike, now I need help deciding on what to upgrade to. I've been riding a hard tale this home time and am looking to move on to a full suspension bike. Currently I am inclined to buy a Gt Verb Elite or Expert, id love to hear everyone opinions on these two bikes. Also, any bike suggestions would be appreciated within the $1000-$1500 range. Thank you for your help and have a great day.

Check out Haro Shift R5 (a bit over budget) or Five S3 cheaper but the fork is probably compared to the GT

$1,000 to $1,500 can get you a really nice used upper mid-range full suspension bike, but that is the entry level price point for a new full suspension bike.

If you shop around, $1,125 will get you a new tier 1 brand hardtail with Shimano SLX/XT groupset and decent air shocks like the Fox Float or Rockshox Reba...

I just purchased a new bike myself about a month ago, my strategy was to list out the requirements I wanted and then find a bike that match them. In general, these where my requirements:

    Shimano SLX or better groupset.
    Shimano Hydraulic disc brakes.
    29 inch wheels.
    Fox Float air shocks.

I ended up finding a used 2013 Trek Rumblefish Elite for $1,000. The previous owner upgraded many of the components so it end up being a great deal, blue book on the bike is actually around $1,500.

    Giant Stance 1

    Diamondback Atroz Comp

    Raleigh Kodiak

A couple of GT FS under 1500. Climbing efficiency is supposedly great on the GT geometry.

Check pink bike for some local used FS bikes. I'd go with used if I could.
