    seat ups and downs

I see that moving the seat is important. How do you know how high to raise the seat after lowering it. How do you mark the post?

    Thanks

Just mark it with a little stripe of white (or other contrasting color) paint.
Some people move the seat often, but I kinda got out of that myself & unless I start doing downhill boulder field or real freeride type stuff I doubt I'll go back to it. My K2 Razorback doesn't even have a quick release style seat post clamp. I can do some pretty technical downhills with the seat right where it usually is without feeling at a disadvantage.
    Vance in AK.
