    poor fitting headsets - what were they thinking

    Why do so many mfg's have huge gaps around their headsets.

    It's visually sloppy and lets pollutants into the bearings.

    I'll give props to a few bikes out there that have it right, but seems you gotta pay through the nose to get that model.

    My cheapo Origin-8 is fine. Were you thinking of something specific? Sure it's adjusted right?

    Not to defend OEM headsets, a lot of them are really trashy. But I can't say I've ever seen one that didn't look like it fit together.
