    New guy

Not new to bikes or forums, but new to big wheels and gears and all.

After 33 years of bmx riding, finally made the step up to a 26" dirt jumper.

My derailleur lasted about a week (hit a car) and I'm still trying to adjust to suspension forks, but having fun nonetheless.

I'll start a thread somewhere with pix of my POS, and ask some stupid questions soon.

Thanks for having me, look forward to making lots of friends here.

    Thanks for the welcome.

Rode the skatepark yesterday and was able to pull just about everything I did on my 20" except the peg stuff. Felt good too.

Maybe back to Lake Calavera today.

Thanks for the welcome, and kewl handle you have there Dirt.

Was my 4th day off my 20" and I was going too fast down Escondido Ave. (no bike lane). Guy about 2 cars ahead of me turned right abruptly without signaling and I couldn't stop. Broke my hanger and derailleur and scratched my sunglasses, but luckily I was uninjured (just sore).

He stopped but I let him go (much to my family and friends chagrin).
