what do you want to upgrade? what problems are you having with it? what kind of terrain do you ride? new or used? full sus or hardtail? some more detail might be nice.

    i have a -30 or -04 Canondale F-600,
no serious problems, just a little older and would like something a little better, we got it from a pawn shop for $400,
i ride XC, Omaha Ne and places close, i do plan to race at nationals in Colorado,
a new or use bike would be fine as long as its in good shape,
im thinking hardtail ,but if there is a good deal on full i might go for that too
like i said 5ft. 7in. 130, pretty hard on bikes but want one mainly for racing
so any help or comments welcome
    ~thanks~

Try posting in the XC Racing forum, should get some good advice there. I'd stick with a hardtail for racing at that price point, but I've never raced in Colorado.
