    Fixing Brake Rub?

I got a new Trek with disc brakes which I'm completely unfamiliar with. with the bike upside down and the front wheel hub loose and unlocked the front wheel spins with out a problem. Once I lock the hub I hear a slight rub on its rotation and the wheel slows down quickly.

What should I look for to adjust? Where is a good resource to read about working on disc brakes?

    Here are a few specs:
Brakeset - Avid Juicy 5 Hydraulic w/185mm Rotor front/Avid Juicy 5 Hydraulic w/160mm Rotor rear brakes, Avid Juicy 5 levers
Shift Levers - Shimano LX Rapid Fire
    Front Derailleur - Shimano LX

    thank you.
