    body armour

Hi, I'm fairly new to mtn biking (2 years). I'm almost 60 but really enjoy riding. Been to whistler and Calgary Olympic park a few times and go to Arizona for winters. Love technical trails but I avoid getting any air other than drops.

In Az, I'm always worried about wiping out on the rocks. Same with Whistler

Is it overkill for me to buy a full upper body armour? I don't want to look ridiculous out there but worry about injuries.

Ideally I would buy each part separately and wear it as the terrain dictates.

Is there a place in Canada that I can buy armour? Amazed I cant seem to find any place online.

Why cant I type in this box? It misses every 2nd keystroke!!

    Thanks

Ride in what makes you comfortable.
Particularly for lift served, full body armour can come in very handy. I've got a few full Dianese sets that are thoroughly bashed and tattered; they've paid off a ton of times.
