    Spitfire crank arm length

6ft rider on a 2016 Spitfire with 170mm crank arms wondering if there is any benefit to riding longer, 175mm arms, on my spitfire due to my height and leg length?

Right now the 170mm length is nice for reducing pedal strikes etc but I'm wondering what most people are riding on their spittys

    Thanks,

What size frame ya on? I am between 5'10"-11", on a Large Spit, and went from 175s to 170s about a year ago. No looking back. The 170s made a noticeable pedal strike difference and I am sold on em.

Like Lithifield, I'm between 5'10" and 5'11" and on a large 2016 Spitfire. However, I have 175mm crank arms.

I ride pretty rocky east coast trails and I was bashing cranks a lot when I had 26" wheels in the nuetral setting. On 27.5" wheels in the nuetral setting I don't really have many issues (still using the 26" dropouts). That being said, I am much more aware when pedaling through rock gardens.

I've never used 170mm cranks except for my old road bike. So I cannot comment on the differences between the two lengths on a mtb.
