    Rune 2015 dropouts change

Hello. I have a 2015 Rune that I like a lot, Im currently running mid height dropouts which feels fine as seat and HT angles, but a little long in CS (17.2) and high in BB (14). Can I switch the dropuots to improve this???
    Thanks

So you want to use 26 drop out with 27.5 wheels? I've been down that road. tire clearance will be your biggest enemy.

I ended up going back to the 27.5 drop out with 160 mm fork and bought some offset bushings to lower my bb as low as possible...

the latest drop outs do not fit our model.

You can certainly give the 26 drop out a go. I used Hans Damph 2.25's and they fit giving me that short chainstay.

Another member got some agressors to fit in there. I haven't tried that myself but I do have some aggressors lying around. maybe a project to try this summer.

In honesty though, I think a lower BB has been a bigger impact on that bike for me than a shorter chainstay.

You can fit 27.5 wheel in to 26 drop out though you will need skinny/semi slick to fit with room for a bit of mud/flex of wheel. I have run this set up for over a year and only recently tried 27.5 drop out, think I will be going back to the smaller drop outs as I prefer them
