    Phantom pivot bolts

I apologize if this has been asked before, if it has, I can't find it.

This is directed at Keith or anyone else that might know. I've got about 15-20 good rides on my new Phantom. Hands down, the most playful bike I've ever owned. Absolutely love it.

I have a tick during seated pedaling and I'm 99% sure it's just a dropper post that needs a little grease. While I'm messing with it, I think I'm gonna check the torque on all my pivot bolts. Are these thread locked?? Should they be? I'm not touching these bolts until I find out because I don't want to turn these bolts if it might break the seal on the threads.

Really happy to hear you are enjoying your new frame, but hope you solve the click quickly!

I'd suggest that you go over the pivots to check that they are tightened to torque. Ideally you could take the bolts out dab some new loctite on the threads and tighten back to torque rating of pivot. It's very unlikely that the bolts will come loose without loctite, but it's useful to apply some just to be sure. PTFE tape works well also.

I noticed a bit of a strange sensation while riding mine after a few months. Turned out that the upper CS DS pivot bolt was loose. Cinched it down on the trail and forgot all about it until now, 2 years later! Not had any problems at all.

Thanks Shackleton! Good to know which one to look at first.
