Maybe you should also consider the Darkside with DC fork.
It feels brilliant und is also a very capable option... I have the feeling that the Darkside is much more comparable to the Demo, the Legend is a pure racingmachine and already really long in XL...

I owned a Legend in L for 4 years, and now a Darkside for 2 seasons...

I really love the Darkside the Legend feels a little better in the chunky highspeed stuff, the Darkside feels more at home getting serious airtime and destroying berms...

At 6'4", a large Darkside will be cramped...especially if you're looking to gain some reach compared to your demo (~440mm Darkside vs 450mm Demo).

As mentioned, the Legend is a full on DH rig. Where is most of your riding? Most of the US bike parks have gone full bore on flow trails...not where the Legend will excel. Keystone, Angle Fire, Plattekill...anything steep, chunky, and fast.

The Legend is built tough like all Banshee frames. Easily serviced bearings and strong hardware. It's strong and stiff....and a little heavy.

If you need more convincing, we have the 2015 26" XL frames on closeout for $1300 frame only: 2015 Banshee Legend XL frames! CLOSEOUT!!! For Sale

Most of the dh we do is angelfire........the local stuff.. (TEXAS) tends to be short runs with lots of cliff ledges...roots and huge jumps.......
