Banshee 2014 rune - hope brake adaptor???

    Hi All

just asking around to see if anyone is running hope E4 brakes on their rune. Im just about to purchase a pair but would like to know which Hope brake adaptor mount i need for the rear if i was running a 180mm rotor.

I own a 2014 rune v2, hope someone can help

    cheers in advance

The rune has an IS mount for the rear. Ive got hope brakes and am using 180mm rotors, so this is the adapter Im using: https://www.jensonusa.com/Shimano-18...-Brake-Adaptor

fwiw the shimano one works fine with my hope brakes.

Thanks eeyore, that's exactly what i was hoping to hear. I have a shimano set up all ready so ill just buy the brake itself. Do you know if the hope brakes work with icetech rotors too? i plan to get some hope floating rotors but my ice tech still have plenty of life left in them!

I want to say the ice tech rotors will be just fine, but I have no personal experience as such. I would make sure the pad material that you were using with the shimano brakes is similar to the hope brakes. sometimes rotors dont play nice when you switch from resin to metal...might be worth it to just use new rotors....
