I saw it too but it seems like nobody read on this forum... there's a topic about a new long travel 29er and I'm 99% sure that's the same bike! Maybe the Rune and/or Spitfire will have the same kind of frame but right now, pretty sure that is a 29er.

The only thing missing in the lineup is a long travel 29r in the 150/160mm range.

Someone said it should be a 160mm bike. On this picture, it really seems to have a 170mm fork.

Looks pretty cool. I am super curious to hear how it climbs. I am in the market for a 29er and have been seriously considering the Firebird 29, but if the V3 is a 29er, I could be convinced to stick with Banshee.

Frame price has increased by 45% over the previous model here in Australia. I'm a huge Banshee fan, have a Rune and a Spitfire, but that sort of price rise is hard to justify.

    Hmm, US pricing is below.

    Rune V2 w/ a RS Monarch+ RC3, $1900 MSRP
    Rune V3 w/ a Fox Float X2 Perf, $2300 MSRP

That's a 21% increase. The Fox X2, even the Performance Series, accounts for a large portion of that increase.

V2 was $2250 here without dropouts or headset, V3 is $3500 with. Dropouts and headset $250 tops. So if include them, it's a 40% increase.

    I could cope with a 21% increase.

    The new Rune looks good.
Is it really coil compatible? Banshee claimed V2 was able to run a coil shock, but in reality only progressive coils or some shocks could be used. Is there a real leverage curve that could help us understand the difference?
Does anyone know the size of suspension bearings on the V3? V2 bearings in my opinion are way too flimsy for the application. Also the hardware for the KS links is too weak for a bike as capable as the Rune.

Looks good, I just hope the "inside" is as strong as the looks.

So why the V3? Was it a patent issue or an improvement? Kind of looks like my delirium. I have been eyeballing the prime but wondering if the new design rides differently.
