    Pauanui

Anyone got the hot oil on any decent tracks around Pauanui to ride?

The steeper and gnarlier the better!

There's a walking track at the south end of the beach I did a few years ago that would make an insanely steep and technical DH run, if it weren't a walking track...

+1 for trailforks, Whangamata supposedly has some good riding.

I might have to sneak that early in the morning.... I do like insane steap/tech dh runs.

I used to live there 15 years ago or so. If itís still the same, if you go anytime that isnít a holiday, you have the entire road to yourself. During the holidays can be a bit crazy though.
