I had a similar experience, except I crashed into a beer not a bear.

Probably happened in the Rattlesnake creek area. My sister, who lives in Missoula, sent me photos my brother-in-law took of bears in their back yard, eating apples off of their trees.

This time of year, the bears get really active, because they are trying to put on weight for the winter -- although some of the bears have actually quit hibernating and just go on eating all winter.

Is the Kodak any relation to the Kodiak?

party pooper. . . the Kodak bear is far more photogenic than the Kodiak bear. . . better smile as the Kodiak bear has a big ol lip full of dip.
