    WTF happened to Spring?

Geez, I leave the country for 10 days, just in time for 100 degree temps. What the heck happened to the 70 degree temps I left last month? How many days again until Fall?

I'm more upset that I have to say good-bye to my $60 electic bills.

I'm hoping to put off turning on the A/C until after mother's day.

You damned kids...you don't know hot! When I was in school I had to hike uphill to school, in 120F weather, in bare feet. Both ways! And when we got to school, we didn't get water to drink, nooooo. They gave us hot sand to eat, and we were grateful!

Right! I had to get up in the morning, at ten o'clock at night, half an hour before I went to bed, eat a lump of cold poison, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill and pay millowner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our dad would kill us and dance about on our graves, singing Hallelujah!

    ROTFLMAO! Excellent memory.

Sometimes I'm profoundly saddened at the enormous amount of wasted hard drive space in my head for stuff like this. Space that could be holding, say, a foreign language or the memory of a prom date with a pair of cheerleaders. Not often. Just sometimes.

Well, it is getting warmer here, 80s, supposedly 85 tomorrow (wow, that's hot eh phoenix people!). I still don't know if I'll ride that "race", only about 20-30% singletrack and all...I'm still compemplating it. I definitly do not have a "cross country race bike", but I'm sure I'll pass enough people to make it demeaning on what I have. Definitly not too excited about the course, but I may do it yet.
I know in my heart that Ellsworth bikes are more durable by as much as double. AND they are all lighter...Tony Ellsworth

    Unless you registered already

you won't officially be doing the Whiskey, registration has been closed for a couple weeks. Check the Epic Rides site for info.

I'll be the guy on the DH bike then, although I am going to ride up Thumb Butte road to the trail at Mt Francis (same amount of climbing though), everything else will be the "course".
