I am going to bring my 29er to pump track just for Fish. I hope you have some SPD's oiled up and ready to rip.

Posh tried to Carridine himself with one of my 29er tubes while we were at Sunrise; luckily I stopped him before anything bad happened to my tube.

Because larger wheels roll over stuff easier and making things easier is just like sanatizing the trail?

A better question is how could bike shop guys NOT like any particular kind of bikes?

29er, 26er, AM, XC, DH/FR, BMX, fixie, roadie, cruiser, beater...? It's ALL GOOD.

That guy doesn't say 29ers suck. Or that roadies suck. Or that canal riders suck...

He says people suck - specifically fat, stoner, Subaru-driving people with kids. (his words, not mine)

    Why the 29er rage?

Even though I ride 29ers, I like to carry 26er tubes so that I can help out the poor DHer with a flat tire. The little tubes work just fine in my big wheels when the tubeless must become tubed.

I work at a shop and I not only don't like recumbants, I think they're ridiculous and I head for the hills when I see them coming. Goofy bastards.

I carried both for a while cause I was short on 29er tubes. I ended up giving my 26 tube to someone on a 26 that was stuck. They were shocked I had a 26 tube on me. Also let my friend use a 29er tube on his 26 last weekend, but he pinch flatted half mile down the trail. But it worked for a while.

I understand 26" wheels work for the downhill thing, but the continued hate towards 29ers is getting a little old. Bike stores that dont stock 29er tubes, tires and wheels are missing out. I see lots of 29ers on SOMO and around town. Why diss something thats not going away?? In this economy why miss getting revenue from something because your too stubborn to accept new concepts???
