Who's doing the Dusk "tll Dawn on Dec 5th?

    I'm planning on entering the event,maybe as a solo if i can't p/u a team ride.
Does this event have restrictions on the solo catagory? Some of the 24HR events do.
This is the weekend after the Flight Of The Pigs, gonna be a big ridn' week to kick of the winter

    Duo

I think Will and I are going to do it Duo again this year. It's really fun!

If DCB is listening I think they should make it mandatory that each team alternate laps between them unless of a mechanical or something.

Yup, doing a chick duo again for the third year. It's a great event, super easy course and a very fun vibe.

Benjes/DCB puts on a good show, mountain, tri, and swimming events. I'd like to make it for this event too.

Missed the last two years for odd reasons. I hope to be in for this year! Thinking about doing the Dust Devil Series as well.

This is a great event and we plan on doing it again this year. We missed last year due to a cyclocoss event conflict.

I hope DCB is able to figure out the camping/split venue issues.

Bigdude is in! Likely trying solo...no plans to win (not that I could), just a good excuse to spend the day riding my bike with a lot of other good people!! CJ Coffee should be in the hizzy for the event again too!!! (although I've gotta confirm that with Dave)

I agree.. hopefully Dave and gang can figure out the whole venue issues...

Riding Pemberton for 12 (or 10 or whatever....) hours is TOUGH!!! It is an easy course technically speaking, but very boring for a solo race and hard to keep motivated to keep going. The first year was freaking awesomely spectacular!!! The rain and cruddy weather made it interesting... last year was torture even though the weather was perfect.

DCB always puts on super fun and well run events... I look forward to all of them every year!

Yeah but you could ride for only half of the time and still probably win!

I agree torture (for Christi anyway) the water bars on the down hill sucked big time On the tandem I would clear the water bars and start to power out just like on a short bike, but then the back wheel would hit! and just about rip Christi's knees apart and that got me in trouble many times....she made a deal with me to count to three before I put the hammer down.... you ALL remember passing us on the climb last year, but few of you remember passing us on the down hill

I about spun my knees to shreds on the downhill on my rigid SS trying to prove a point by staying with all the geared/full suspension folks. Wasn't worth it.
