Maybe it's taggers throwing deer-vagina scent balloons at riders on the street on their way to the trail that cause it.

    dude that's ridiculous,,,
no one would be able to hold a balloon close enough to a deer for it to queef into it...

I do like how he points out the buck right before he gets smashed.

This is why, when riding in Colorado, I usually slow down when I see mule deer.....you know, so I can figure out what they're going to do next. I've had them cross the trail right in front of me. Kinda like...you know, this guy.......

Seen them at White Tanks too.....but they seemed slow and skittish and were usually billy-goating their way up a mountain......

There was a guy who T-boned a buck at 24 Hours of 9-Mile a few years back. I've had bucks that didn't want to get off the trail . Kind of a stare down situation. I ended up going the other way. I wouldn't want to mess with one.

Riding at Phil's World in Cortez a few years ago I came out of a wooded area and a huge bull elk bounded uphill across the trail not ten feet in front of me. If it had been a few seconds sooner I would have been plowed under by the beast. That was a close call and I nearly sh*t my chamois.

Well, this is going to result in flame-wars between cyclists and Antelope
    right-of-way protagonists!

And you thought road riding was dangerous; it must
be a ***** getting tagged by an Antelope!

I love the PSA at the end: "This is why you wear a helmet." 'Cause being trampled by an elk is definitely high on my list of worries

While riding the Barnburner in 2010 a large elk ran parallel to the fire road during the descent section (mile ~20?) and then veered across the road in front of me by about 20 feet. Got the heart rate up...even higher.

A couple minutes before it happened, he was telling his hartebeest buddies that he needed to practice wall taps...
The secret to mountain biking is pretty simple. The slower you go the more likely it is you’ll crash.
