What was lost is found. . . Thx

Still dark when I started Pima Canyon. Shoved Oakleys in pocket. Arrived at Widomaker and pocketís empty. Searched on the way down but no glasses. Last stop, the wall on the side of the outhouse. Someone had found them and left them clipped to the board. To whoever found them if you read this, thank you. The glasses were from a buddy currently serving in Afghanistan and have more than monetary value. Again; thanks a lot. (BTW: theyíll be going in zipped pocket next time)

My experience is that the MBers (and many of the hikers) on Somo are generous people frequently offering assistance to those on the side of the trail. Iíve seen them give tubes, pumps, patches, water, food, and encouraging words to those of us struggling to make the up hills. Itís great to be a part of a community thatís looking out for each other at a time when the opposite is generally the norm.

    Thx,

    Tiny
