Actually, that bike was about $3k when it was new...

It was made by Barracuda bikes of Durango Colorado, although that might be a later one that was manufactured by Ross.

What's so ugly about the Motobecane except it's name? Looks like so many other trail bikes I see out there.

Here are my nominees. You gotta love 5 year old bikes still asking for $$ especially when they come with a very nice set of v-brakes!

Just saw that one. Take note it's a downhill bike with a 3-inch travel downhill fork, frame is high-end hand-welded, all for $75.

This one has had me curious as it has been up for a while. I really only see two options with it and one is that he/she/they closed down a shop and had alot of parts left over or that someone is stripping stolen bikes.......

    Anyone recognize any parts?

    What a scam . . .

I wonder if people actually fall for this:

    http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/bik/1292235394.html

    vs.

    http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...ct_id=11089191

This guys steals the photo right from the Wal-Mart website then posts the bike for sale on CL. I bet he doesn't even have the bike on-hand.
