    Turkey weekend ride

Need some help. A guy I met high up on a trail in Colorado mentioned that he spent a month or so camping and riding in Arizona last February. He talked of endless single track running in both directions from camp. The trail had minimal climbing but was sinuous enough to make it really fun. There were no trees but lots of Saguro. I thought he said something about Enchanted Forest but my searches have yielded little info. I would be coming from NM and would be looking for primitive camping with few folks around. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Sounds like a lot of places around Phoenix/Tucson.

Maybe the Black Canyon Trail or McDowell Mountain Park ?

Yeah, Black Canyon - that was it. Thanks. I'll search again as I am certain there's more than enough info on here.
