Trail damage near Warpaint trailhead on Desert Classic

Anyone have any info. It looks as though someone hi-jacked a tractor and tried to drive out into the desert. They tore out some large boulders and sanitized a nice little drop, not too cool.

Some guy drove his truck into the park from Warpaint - some guys found him this morning passed out in the truck smelling strongly of alcohol! They called the cops after they found him, but left before seeing what happened. Maybe they had to tow him out??

On a side note, I'm just a little disappointed that another house is going in across the street from the Warpaint entrance. Not ranting...

Yeah that sucks! so does the new house. Isn't there like 100 houses for sale in that development? can't they buy one of those, instead of building a new one?

I'm disappointed that the house going in across the street from the Warpaint entrance is not mine! I'd let all the bikers park in front of my house, no problemo. Shoot, I'd put in a parking lot and a water fountain

Parking to that trailhead will probably go away in a year or so. Just a guess.

Does anyone know how to get involved with the repair of this trail? Does repair need to be sanctioned, overseen, etc...?>

    he did do some damage....

I ride in from this entry point almost every night, so after reading this thread yesterday, I was curious to see what happened out there.

Looks like an old International Harvester employee was trying to re-live the glory days...

He got stuck a few times and tried to turn around. Looking at the size of the rocks that got moved, I suspect there was some damage to his vehicle.....(hopefully that will teach him a lesson).

All things considered, the recent rain did more damage to other parts of the trail than this goof ball.
