TOT*: Good restaurants near Tapatio Cliffs Pointe Hilton (7th and Thunderbird)

Will be pseudo staycationing at Tapatio Cliffs Pointe Hilton this weekend and was wondering if there was something besides the market bistro for family eating?

stayed there earlier this summer for my birthday and we ate at Market Bistro and the resorts restaurant with our 2 toddlers, which while a very good restaurant (I recommend it actually) it was stressful with the 2 youngun's.

We did a cursory search google and yelp search of the local area and came up with nothing. Is this the case? Is the market bistro all we got going for us out there?

TIA for any info you Phoenicians can provide.

    *totally off topic

El Bravo mex....go south on 7th street, on right before the canal. Just simple, clean, excellent service, reasonably priced, home-style, very nice owners and staff.
    awesome!

Los Reyes de la Torta is regularly praised for excellent, authentic tortas. Just down 7th street near hatcher. Good stuff!

Carolina's (mexican) at Cave Creek Rd. & Cactus Rd.
Just round the bend from Tapatio Cliffs.
On Cactus Rd. just E. of Cave Creek Rd. on N. side.
    Great food, no booze though!

Pei Wei at 3rd. St. & Bell Rd. S. side of Bell.

    This one is good too!
    Phoenix City Grille Home Page

Via de los Santos on Central is also good!

    +1 on Corbin's.
+1 on Los Reyes de la torta.
    +1 on Valle Luna.

+1 on Los reyes de torta. Great food.

Bamboo house is good too, as mentioned. It should be no problem with two kids.

Great Mexican on Cave Creek road north of Greenway is Valle Luna. Nice dark and cool inside, plenty of seating to hide you and your kids from others if you choose. Great pricing and my wife recommends Pollo Fundido.

Just south of your stay on 16th st and glendale is a bike shop with a coffee shop as well. If your whole entourage rides or rides along, this might be a good stop. Pretty sure it is still open.

This place is incredible. One of the most reasonably prices meals we've had since we've been here. And doesn't hurt that it was also one of the best tasting!
