    ThNR

The Desert Classic side of SoMo was covered with lights last night. On the short climb out of the wash from the helipad going back to DC my group found a Treo phone on the trail. Knowing that Walt et al were out there somewhere, I gave CycleJunkie a call - they were just finishing up their ride and he informed me they were all Blackberry users. So then we saw a swarm of lights cresting the saddle from the helipad climb and coming towards us (we had seen them from above wandering around the "swamp" area)... it was a fast group from the SMC shop and one of them was really glad to be reunited with his phone. We all chatted and let them pass and then Epicrider, BrianC, Zort and I continued our ride. I thought this grainy pic from the helipad was pretty cool:

Cool pic! I love how night shots turn out. You never know what you're going to get! Jeff and I have to make one of your ThNRs soon. What better way to end a day than riding and hot tub!

Fun times even if we were interupted by an untimely doorbell.

Thanks for reviving the tradition of the illegal ThNR. Su Ling you and MB should definatly come down soon.
