thanks for the first aid at the waterfall today.

I never got your names, ('cept for Mr. P. who sent me a cute picture), but I very much appreciate the first aid and getting my bike off the trail.
I continued down National to Mormon, then over to Javelina down to Baseline Road and took the canal back to the house.
The 2 fingers I dislocated and put back in place are killing me now, and made running the front brake a great pleasure.

    Again, thanks for your help.

Oh, if anyone finds a white helmet visor on the left hand side as you are headed down, over in the loose rocks... can you give me a shout please?

Mike, glad you made it out okay. We took your visor to the trailhead at 24th street on the tables there. This is on the north side of the mountain not too far from bouscout Probably should have held in to it but didn't think of that.

even if you find the visor, that helmet should be hung up as it looks like it took a good hit up front. They are only good for one good fall and then even with out showing signs of cracking should be retired.
and the lurker returns to the dark corner

Not as $ as bumping your head on a rock with a cracked helmet.

Glad you are okay! Send that pic to S-Works and see what they do for you. Trek used to (and still may) have a one year crash replacement warranty. I would buy a helmet, crash it, get a new one, crash it, buy one, crash it, get a new one....

Ouch! I know how the riding w/ broken digits hurts! Good luck with the helmet.

I think I saw a similar face a couple of months ago at the base of the waterfall...
