Technical Unicycle Riding on SoMo - The Waterfall

A couple of us (Durtgurl et al) road up Mormon Loop/National and we ran into a these two doods doing a little technical unicycle riding down the waterfall and other big time boulders.

Chris and Marc showed us some stunts. Pretty kewl stuff. I gotta say they got ballz pulling this off, but ya know...

    Let's go to the tape:

You beat me too it!!! I'll post a vid from my perspective in a bit - it's done but busy uploading to Youtube etc....

It was a fun ride this morning, made even better with the extra waterfall entertainment!

    Un Reel

Kinda of a cross between pogo stick, bull riding, trials? I can't even stay up on two. When does the 29"-650 thing hit them?

    Thx,

    John

That was awesome! When I was driving home, I was thinking I shoulda left my flash card with you so could whip a vid.

I like how the hiker with the dog off leash continues up the waterfall even though there is a dood on a unicycle bouncy done the thing at the same time. The hierarchy sign of horse>hiker>mountain biker now needs to incorporate unicycle.

Talk about some core strength! I take it they are "hovering" over that seat. If not, that seems pretty rough on goods...

I have been wanting to get one for some time. I can already juggle and stand on my hands so I figured it will be a good back up if the technician thing doesn't work out. Mom and dad always said to have a back up, mine is the circus......

I think the brakes are similar to what the flintstones used.

    Not gonna happen

If I ever decide to learn to ride one of those and could pull it off I'd love to go down the waterfall in a full clown suit... still with a helmet though over my big red wig.

After chatting it up with 'em, Durtgurl did the repsonsible thing and suggested that they put a crash helmet on.
