We will have 4, maybe 5 of us from Phoenix headed up on Saturday. There's going to be a couple newbies amongst us.

What are the trail conditions like up there right now? Haven't been up since the archery tournament was going on. Are there still runs that are closed?

the only trail that i know was closed last time was shoots and ladders.

the trails have changed a lot since they opened this summer. I went the second weekend they opened and it was really nice. gone 3 times since and the trails are getting rugged but just makes for more fun in my opinion makes it harder.

It has rained almost everytime i go. those roots are damn slippery when wet

I have one friend that i take that makes for many laughts. last time he hit a few trees on sticks and stones and just laid there moaning like a elk in heat. he is 6'7 250 so its a sight

Trails are pretty dry unless it has rained in the last week. Chutes and Ladders and Collarbone are the only officially closed trails. However last Sunday on my last run at the end of the day there was a tree down across the bottom part of Fungus after the last switchback. I forgot to notify Denny (head of Ski Patrol) before I left, but I did leave a message on his voicemail today. Hopefully they will get someone with a chainsaw to clear the trail.
Now I DRIVE the short bus!!
