Yesterday was my first time up... amazing. Dropping into Sticks & Stones in a snowstorm was pretty sick.

Huge props and thanks to the trail builders and workers... good to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones out there yesterday!

Looks great. Is there anything up there for a beginner on a 4" bike, or is it all more advanced stuff?

Depends on your ability. The beginner trails are very friendly, I would dare say that most could do them on a hardtail.

The real fun is Yardsale and Nemesis; I would not suggest a 4-in bike for those unless you have guts and alot of determination, but those are also advanced trails...

I've only ridden up there twice. The first time was on a 4'' fs xc bike. Let's just say that the steep head angle made for a rough day. Still, made 6 runs or so and had fun but a bike with much slacker angles and more travel made my next trip way better. I'm no d/h'er though. Didn't even have pads.

    Sticks and Stones is OPEN!

We cleared the trees, groomed the trail, and rerouted the entrance on Sunday.
That trail is super sweet now.

    Awesome, good job boys!

Only thing left is Chutes and Ladders, which needs more chutes and ladders!

oh man, what a great feeling....ripping it up, back to the chair lift like it was a bar tender and its you call it drinks all day long

It really sank after the third drink...run..... started to open her up a lill...OMG and LoL is how I can describe it. All trails that are open are hitting really nice. Busted out a few laps with the some peps and took them down Arrow Head to Yard Sale....mmmmmm.....fav. run as of now and man yard sale was looking SWEET....blasted that section like a hot piece of butter melting off a stack of flap jacks, hung my self up once almost high sided then manged to square it up and let go... the peps were like..no way...I ain't doing that again while walking down

Nice to see everyone that was able to make it up this weekend, cant wait till next weekend.

for those that cant make trail work and you wanna help but just cant....get creative or donate.

Just a reminder.... YOU ARE NOT TO REOPEN ANY TRAIL THAT IS CLOSED WITH OUT MYSELY,JOEY OR SHORT BUS JAMES WITH YOU..... something like this was done this past Saturday by a few that I will not name and Joey was/wasn't there for the work and didn't know what was up or what I had planned. So PLEASE if you wanna work come on out and work as a group/TEAM that is, not for selfishness reasons, cause you used to hit it back in the day and all that...ITS CLOSED FOR A REASON Spanx's

The only two trails that are CLOSED as of now are upper and lower Chutes and Ladders along with Collar Bone. Gonna hike collar bone and see whats up for the Saturday crew to open her up chutes and ladders will be the only trail CLOSED for future rework....

And remember to stop by the shop heading in town er out..

Sweet guys! Im looking forward to riding up there for the first time EVER this Summer. Would love to get in on some trail work action, but another broken collar bone has put me on the sidelines for about 5 more weeks. Will help be needed all through Summer?

Also, I only have ONE bike, and to be honest, I like how it looks withOUT scratches or rub marks. Im probably going to catch some hot sh*t for this, but do the lifts jack up the cosmetics of our beautiful bikes in anyway? I know that crashing can eff my stuff up, and I know about the heli tape, but it never hurts to ask. Stay crisp Sunrise!

Helidave my first time up there was in 05 I think on my 2 or 3 in XC bike. Had a blast on the blue & green runs. I've since bought much more travel and a slacker HT and the trails are taken a lot faster.

Definitely get up there with whatever you have. Or rent from Cactus either way start saving for a new bike. You will like it that much

just rent a big sled, it's like riding a couch and if you crash, you don't have to worry about fixing your own bike. you just gotta get the first taste of all that travel and you'll be hooked like rick james on crack.

I like Fish's idea with the motion detecting hunter cameras. Set a few of those up in some good spots would be sick.

Damn IP filters at work. All I want to do is watch videos online all day... is that too much to ask for?

By the way, my 55 lockout doesn't work any more. How long do you think it will last before ending up in the next camp fire?
