I'd like to join you for at least the first part - up National & down Corona Loma or Old Man's. Although I am in no way a football fan, I do like parties and I've got one to attend Sunday afternoon so I need to keep the morning ride not too long. I'll probably have some shreddin girls along with me if that's ok We'll be rolling from my house and will look for you and Kort at 10AM on Sunday at the north Ramada.

What time is this going on? I need to get to Union Hills around 1 for a fish fry.

If FIP is at 10, when is the estimated ending time?

Its to bad you wouldn't know one, if one was standing in front of you. Girls? I got 8 runs in how many did you get? All that I heard was " my knee hurts".

Helimech forgot to mention that I was out in front all day. After not riding DH for 4months, bum knee, and on a bike I have never ridden before. I'd say i'm a champ. Go see "The Wrestler". Good movie!

Good ride. We split at Corona Loma and then met up again at the end of Viejo for a quick ride back to DurtGurls' house. Good to meet you guys.

A few new rocks were added at the topside entrance to Old Man's from the saddle on National but there was nothing too looking official so we added to the existing bike tracks. Lostboyz, Kort and Chris are probably still out doing their massive ride but most of the group chose to turn back on Desert Classic after doing either Corona Loma or Old Man's - we magically all appeared at the base of Old Man's at the exact same time which was very odd.

Also, two new Pivots took their maiden voyages today and the reviews are positive!

..... then on to Old Man's. This was lostboyz' first run down Old man's and he was grinning ear to ear. Most of my "action" shots really sucked today but I did manage to get Kort, Chris, and Bob in the frame while snapping quickly on OM. Sorry I missed Lynnette, Carmen, and Aaron!

    I feel good....

not really. I'm sore as hell. that was a *****in' ride and worth every minute. Thanks to Lostboyz for getting this one together. Me and him were really doubting ourselves hiking up Telegraph, though.

Oh yeah, and to the rider who was medivac'd off the mountain, Heal up!!

This ride was badazz! Old Man is a rulin trail...shame it's gettin decomm'd. Not one for poachin but if there is any trail to be poached this would be the one to do. Friggin steep, tech, shale, tight switches, ect. Really fun.
Chris and I were completely knackered by the time we got to the top of Telegraph but continued on like true soldiers. Awesome ride that had me hurtin when all was said and done.
Thanks to everyone that came out and thanks to Kort for fixin my tube.
    Stay tuned for Gnartopia 2
