The truck could only hold 24 tons, so that is all the dirt I can get. Lucky me.

PERFECT jump/ pump track material! The next best thing to riding is building for riding. Sounds like a good weekend to me unless you plan on wasting that beautiful dirt on a planter or something else ghey, ie: not bike related.

More likely to find mold in the house. Then you can sell, move and start all over

You honestly think if I found fold in my house, I'd sell it looking for another? Hell, they could find the decaying bodies of the third infantry in my attic, and I'd still stay here. Way too much blood and sweat invested to move because of some stinking mold.

I'm all for DIY projects around the house, but sometimes it's ok to give in and hire out some work. Shoveling dirt and rocks is one of those tasks in my opinion... Is the money saved worth your time and blown back?

100% not, but maybe it's the penny-pincher in me. I figure if I am able enough to do it, why spend money having somebody else to do it. Also, there is a lot of satisfaction knowing I got a good day's work in.

I usually pay when it gets to the delicate projects, like texturing walls, etc.

    for future reference...

call up any pool excavator and they will gladly GIVE you dirt!!!!! they usually have to pay to give it away. or hit me up off line and i can help arrange it. also i know someone that has a wee bobcat that will fit between side yard gates. it makes moving dirt, gravel, rock much easier, faster and gets you back on the bike sooner just my $.02
