    South Mountain Does Not Suck!

I rode Desert Classic to the helicoptor pad for the first time in like 3 years late afternoon yesterday. It did not suck.

Why would you go out there when you have everything you need at North Mountain? Maybe the ride did not suck, but I bet the commute to the trail did.

Actually, the trip to the trailhead is real handy from where I work. It's like a 15 min. road trip. I listened to NPR to get myself really depressed on the way so I could vent anger and frustration on my bike. The ***** took it in stride. I may make it a regular Thursday afternoon ride.

Something related to the ride must have sucked. How about the commute back?

You and DHF'r need to take your dark hole of hell battle to the a$$ of hell and get it out of mtbr. Its way too entertaining for this group.

Nothing really sucked...an exception may be my dark thoughts of sin and dispair. I really enjoyed the ride though. Another aspect that kinda sucked was the lack of a bikini clad coed selling hot dogs and washing bikes at the end of the trail.

    Very likely

It's very likely that I will be heading up for Saturday with Roger from Cactus Bike. I got to wait until 1:00 p.m. to find out how my wife's OB appointment goes. If all is well, I'll have the green light. As much as I would like to go for both days, my wife won't be able to contact me up there, if she has any problems or goes into labor, so I can only swing day trips until the baby comes.
    You going?

This sucks big time. So, I guess we can safely say then that So.Mo. does suck, right? No bikini clad coeds selling hot dogs and washing bikes. See everyone, So.Mo. sucks. T100 rules, but stay out.

Now, lets get back to the topic at hand - the dark hole of hell.

Is roger actually going to make it? I talked to him yesterday and it was a maybe. You got to get him to go! Call and let me know if you can't make it.
