    Slippery Pig is moving!

Erik at the Pig asked me to post up something (since 9-18 Fast won't!) about the shop moving down the street. The shop on Central, not the FH location.

Anyhow, before a mod deletes this (no offense Paul)...

30% off complete bikes and frames in stock.

50% off of parts and accessories in stock.

No returns, no exchanges. All sales are going to be as is and final.

The store is thinning out fast and this is only going to go on until the end of the month. Take advantage of this while you can!

Yeah I found this out while I was standing outside the doors in FH waiting for them to open on Sunday. I finally called the PHX store and they said the FH store was closed for the day so the people there could help them move. Oh well, I'll get there another day.

Oh so that is how it’s going to be!!! Well maybe “E” asked you because he knows you spend so little time on your bike that he knew a few more minutes wouldn’t make a difference.

BTW you know the real reason the shop is moving is because “E” had to put more distance between you and the Dairy Queen.

I went, got stuff I needed and a couple wanted items too...and I spent less than planned. Big danger for impulsive shoppers! Good deals still available.

Dropped by today and bought a totally unnecessary (what the hell? Do I say set of, pair of, or nothing?) handlebar/s. Might go back tomorrow for a seat post clamp and some rotors if they have any. Didnt look for those today. Curious to see the new shop!

I sent a buddy and co-worker over to the Pig yesterday. He was a BMXer back in the day and wanted to get into Mtn. biking. The gang @ SP took good care of him and he walked out with a great deal on an entry level Trek. I liked that they did not try to over sell him or try to put him in a $4K carbon bike as he does not even know if he will enjoy riding again. He was super pumped when he got into work today.

    Thanks guys!!

I think all bike shops should put people on bikes that can't afford and more bike than they want and need. Bike shops should also mis-fit people with size medium frames.

How else am I going to score a carbon fiber SS on Craiglist?
